TideBot places Binance spot orders with your API key. The balance stays on Binance. Withdrawals are not part of the bot.
What the API key is for
Spot orders on the pairs you enabled. Turn withdrawals off when you create the key on Binance, and replace the key if it leaks.
Where the key is stored
Encrypted on your TideBot account. Another trader cannot read it. TideBot does not keep a copy of your coins.
Before mainnet orders
Operators can leave dry run on, so the worker watches prices and does not send orders, or point the worker at Binance testnet.
Two logins
Trader and admin accounts are separate. An admin login cannot open the trader dashboard, and the reverse is also true.
Email code and idle logout
Signing in emails a one-time code. A new registration cannot use the app until that email is confirmed. One hour with no activity ends the session.
Trade emails
Each buy and each sell on a cycle is emailed to the account that owns the pair.
Trader account
Turn on a pair and set its allocation
Create an account, save a Binance spot key, enable a listed pair, and decide how much of that coin TideBot may trade. Trailing percent, Rule A size, and the Rule A cap are set on that pair.
